Join us for a very special circus retreat that combines individual skills training, creativity, and nature at our custom built circus retreat on a lake in Vermont.
Combining group creative sessions and one-on-one private lessons, we will dive into the creative process to help you blossom on stage with the goal for you to leave the retreat with a solid work concept and actualization of an act.
Industry experts Elsie & Serenity offer artistic and professional development for committed recreational and aspiring professional circus artists to help you build your act for performance. The work we do in this workshop will be on individual acts through a supportive process that includes one on one skill building, individual act guidance, and group creative exercises.It doesn’t end when you leave - Elsie and Serenity offer mentoring for career and personal development that includes contacts with the circus industry, promotional mentoring, technical support, and ongoing advice.

ONSITE LODGING
Our home has a large kitchen, dining area for 16+, three bathrooms, a large rec room with a ping pong table, plus a screened in porch overlooking the lake. Activities include swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, biking and more.
Lodging options include:
Tenting: bring what you need to set up, and share the bathroom in the house
In house: all bedding & towels are provided
Dorm room: 6 twin beds and 1 queen located up a spiral staircase in the attic; due to space we suggest small suitcases and backpacks
Alcove Roomette: a twin bed located midway up the spiral staircase in a private alcove; due to space we suggest small suitcases and backpacks
Private room for 1-2: Private room for 1-2: on the main floor with a queen bed next to a bathroom. NOTE: If you are the second person in this room, please select the payment option for “private room - 2nd participant”.
