The LakeSide Studio
A custom built circus studio with 18' rigging points available for workshops, artist retreats and company residencies. Retreats can include lodging and meal options.
The Studio
A work in progress, the windows went in Nov. 2023, the radiant heat will go in next.
The 24' x 44' building has two steel trusses offering multiple rigging points on adjustable pulleys, options for floor based anchors, and wall points for vertical dance. The floor will be smoothed cement with carpet bonded foam rolls and crash mats. Black and white backdrop options will support photo and video shoots.
The Location
The Studio is located on private Tinmouth Lake in southwest Vermont, with swimming, kayaking, hiking and biking from the doorstep. Lodging is available as camping, in nearby rentals, or in the main house across from the studio. The location is just 25 minutes from Rutland, Vermont which offers big town amenities including restaurants, groceries and more lodging options. Travel via the regional Rutland Airport or the larger Albany, NY airport. Amtrak travels from NYC to Rutland, VT. Pick ups may be arranged.
