Photo &/or Video Shoots

Have you always wanted to get high quality photo or video of you doing your favorite thing?  Are you an aspiring professional needing images or video to sell your work?  From aerials to ground, and everything in between, we can capture your passion, and we'll make it low stress and easy for you, too.  Photo shoots are for anyone from student level to professional currently training in circus arts, who can safely execute poses and skills without a coach.  We are happy to work with youth over 8 yrs old for our indoor opportunities.

Each half day shoot includes a 1/2 hr ‘pre’ session zoom meeting plus 3-4 hours on site.

What you get:

• 1/2 hr 'pre' session zoom meeting to review how to make the most of a shoot, how to pick skills for photos, make up support, and review of costume choices

• 1 ½ hr to warm up, prep make up and costumes, test equipment

• Two 20 min photo or video shoots with a break in between; generally one apparatus or activity per 20 min reservation; Duos are welcome

About the shoot:

• 18' single or double aerial point or floor space covered with charcoal black mat

• Black or white backdrop

• General lighting wash

• 3-5 digital images selected by the photographer, lightly edited and available digitally in large size resolution, provided via SmugMug within 2 weeks of the shoot.  There will be a 1 cent fee for these images.

• All images taken during the shoot deemed high enough quality by the photographer (ie eyes not closed, focus clear, etc), with no editing, available digitally in large size resolution, provided via SmugMug within 2 weeks of the shoot.   There will be a 99 cent fee for these images.

• Video will be provided unedited through SmugMug

Cost - $250 per person

About the Photographer:  Elsie Smith has been a professional circus artist for over 30 years and took up photography as a hobby when on tour with Cirque du Soleil.  She has since honed her craft as lead photographer at the New England Center for Circus Arts and as image creater and videographer for hundreds of circus professionals.
