I just wanted to say that the tonight was a totally wonderful evening, and that I -- and pretty much everyone I talked with -- felt it was a privilege to be in the audience. The skill and breadth of the acts, the emotional warmth in the room, even the sense of community you managed to create for such a huge audience... It was all memorable.

As is always the case with these showcases, the Brattleboro, VT twins Elsie Smith and Serenity Forchion steal the show. Smith's "Le Jazz" demonstrates exciting uses of fabric in innovative ways. Although Smith holds pose after pose, the transitions between poses are seamless. Her exciting drops are perfectly set up and timed to be unexpected and resultantly breathtaking. Forchion's development in her "some comfort here ... " is deliberate and slow and frames her kinetic activity in a single trapeze wonderfully.

Just a very belated thank you for your show! I took a friend for her Birthday--we were both tired, kind of sick and at the end of very long days, and almost didn't make it there . Anyway, by the end of the show we were both awake and feeling much better--it was delightful--lots of places to laugh and of course, beautiful to watch. Thank you for your hard work and being such wonderful entertainers--your show certainly made a difference at the end of a hard week and kind of bleak month.
